Bacon Butter




Ya know, there are so many times that I wish I had some bacon for my baked potatoes.  Sunday mornings if there was any bacon left and this was always a big if in our house, it would just sit in the fridge and go to waste.  Well, I fixed that problem! At first my boys turned their noses up at it but once they tasted it I couldn’t make enough of the stuff!  Hope ya’ll enjoy it as much as we do!


12-16        Slices of lightly crispy bacon

1                 Stick unsalted butter, softened, room temperature


Combine in a food processor till smooth.  Put in the fridge for a couple of hours to set up then there you have it…. Bacon Butter!

Use it on:  Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potatoes, Biscuits, Pancakes and Waffle.  Anything your heart desires really.  Yummy stuff!

Note: after is sets up in the fridge you can roll in into a log, put it in wax paper and keep it in the freezer.  just cut off as many discs that you need.
